NEWS
I was going to announce the launch of my debut collected works, TALES OF THE MACABRE, VOL. 1 being released today, but I am holding off until next week when I can do a full launch and the book will be discounted to $0.99. I was hoping to do a full launch this week, but didn’t want to release it at full price and then, a week later, drop it to $0.99 so have delayed the launch by a week. Admin, my eternal enemy.
AUGUSTIN has released a wonderfully cosmic, creeping horror short story. It has some lovely elements of dark fantasy and body horror. HOW TO WIN OVER THE CHITTERING QUEEN is available to read for free online.
I am really looking forward to the TALES OF THE MACABRE, VOL. 1 launch party on the 8th! If you are in London, then come and join us in Clapham Junction from 18:00 at PROJECT ORANGE.
WHAT AM I WORKING ON NOW?
I realised that I was doing a lot of outlining and not enough actual writing, so I am currently neck deep in murder and intrigue in my latest story. It combines HS2, protestors, and DRAUGR).
I am still outlining the sequel to NESTOR LYNCH. I’ve also picked up an old novel I wrote called THE STOLEN GODS set in Ancient Greece. I’ve been wondering if the characters would do well in a short story.

SLICED AND DICED 3: ANOTHER THIRTEEN DARK AND TWISTED SHORT STORIES, by Joan De La Haye, available for purchase at only $0.99.
A lucky coin that might not be so lucky, a child lost in the woods, a couple hiking face more than infidelity, an old woman defends herself and her dog, a gateway to another world brings answers to questions that should have remained unasked, and more.
Another 13 dark and twisted tales from Joan De La Haye are brought together to disturb and darken the reader’s nights. Once again, keeping the lights on and the monsters in their corners is best.
