NEWS
First up, 'The Blood Eagle' has finally spread its wings! After a bit of tweaking, the addition of an extra bridging scene, and a dash of clarification, I'm pretty thrilled with how it turned out.
The launch of 'Nestor Lynch' is creeping up on us, and I've got to say, I'm about as excited as a vampire in a blood bank. The event is being held at a horror-themed bar. They really didn't have to go to all that trouble, though. Just being in Clapham Junction after dark is a truly terrifying experience.
WHAT AM I WORKING ON NOW?
'A Chemical Connection' has been put through the wringer, resulting in a significant reduction in word count. I know, I know, I did write over 2k words in the process, but it's best not to think about that too much.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Up next, a dive into the world of flash fiction. I'm focusing on 'The Girl in the Glass' and 'The Curse of the White Stag'. And let's not forget a return to sci-fi. 'Tales of the Macabre, Vol. 2' is sadly lacking in sci-fi horror, and that's something I aim to remedy. After all, variety is the spice of death... I mean, life.
Also on the horizon is 'The Black Grimoire'. Picture 18th Century London, the Night Foxes, and an elderly Jonathan Hargrave. It's going to be a novella, because those Foxes attract too much peril for a short story. They need to learn to take life easier.
UPCOMING EVENTS
10th June: 'Nestor Lynch' book launch. Be there or be... safe at home, I guess.
14th June: Official release of 'Nestor Lynch'. More murder and revenge than you can shake a bloody stick at.
7th July: Release of 'The Blood Eagle'. Who knew construction work could be so... lethal?
21st July: 'A Chemical Connection' hits the shelves. LSD, accountancy, bell-bottoms, unfortunate haircuts, and my personal favourite: Death.
6th September: 'Tales of the Macabre, Vol. 2' is released. Because one volume of terror just wasn't enough.
